Giant Pepes is a generative art project based on my PEPEGIANT built with p5.js, and released on the fxhash platform.
Open project
GIANT PEPES is about finally taking PEPEGIANT on another journey through another blockchain.
HELLOOOOOO TEZOOOOOS!
The original strict black, red, white iconic imagery now yields to a more colorful throwback to my earlier days in cryptoart. With a dynamically generated *wave palette and a collection of random iconography & glyphs (or are they random at all?!) thrown in to spice things up a bit.
This is a lot more than low effort on my part, and the the mint size calls back to the PEPEGIANT original edition of 100. I hope you have a chance to enjoy your own edition, and thank you all for your support.
PEPEGIANT is one of the first artworks minted by obxium on any blockchain.
It was minted on CounterParty in an edition of 100 and became a Certified Rare Pepe in Bitcoin block 512491 on 7, February 2018.
PEPEGIANT is available only on the secondary market for BTC or as wrapped editions for ETH. The floor price for 1 PEPEGIANT edition at the time of this writing is 10.342ETH or $31000.
PEPEGIANT is my only Certified Rare Pepe, and is my homage to:
The work is comprised of several randomly selected SVG layers based on components which reoccur in my art. Those layers are manipulated in random ways with JavaScript using the fantastic p5js.
The code behind GIANT PEPES is released under a 2 Clause BSD license.
All artwork created by the code is licensed CC0 Universal 1.0.
