Driftwork-LD
Long-duration drift sculpture. Released at the tideline and left. Anyone may take it home or leave it for the next person. After a few years in sun and seawater it breaks down completely.
Littoral and deep-water happenstances: drift-glass constellations, kelp-borne chimes and tidal ink presses that print the moon onto the shoreline twice a day.

Program 01. Works that lie still and let the water do the moving.
Built on the logic of a floating platform: small stainless modules with their own buoyant tanks, assembled by hand on the quay. A leak stays local and is mended locally. Nothing is ballasted that does not need to be, so every work carries only the material it uses.
Program 02. A workshop that floats out to the people who want it.
Catamaran hulls of tetrahedral tanks, a solar-charged motor, two knots. The atelier moors wherever it is asked to, and anyone who comes aboard can use the tools. It is maintained by the persons using it, which so far has been everyone.

Drift sculpture, minted on landfall. Rolls, floats and can be rowed. Big enough for one person to shelter in, small enough to bury with only the entrance showing.

Wave-tuned aeolian instrument. Rides the swell on a modular float and sings with it. Like every Tide work, it is maintained by whoever comes across it.
