Mycel 4.0 adds probabilistic scheduling for coincidences

obxium ▪ press
Zug, Switzerland — Mycel 4.0 introduces probabilistic scheduling: works no longer wait for a time, they wait for a likelihood. A kite now flies when a good flight becomes probable, not at 14:00 on a Thursday.
As before, the engine has no authority over any work. It runs on small open models that anyone can inspect, fork or switch off. A work maintained by an accomplice will always do what that person decides over what Mycel suggests.
“We didn't make it happen. We made it possible for it to happen, and then we waited.”
— From the obxium field manual
What comes next
- Open weights for all Serendipity Agents
- An offline mode for works beyond the mesh
- SDK docs rewritten as plain manuals, with drawings
Mycel stays free to use. Concentrations of power are not one of our dependencies.
